Overview

Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, the Body Shop Technician will work on a variety of trucks such as medium duty trucks with service bodies or flatbeds, medium package vans, box trucks, semi tractors, RVs, and buses.

Responsibilities

Includes, but is not limited to,

• Body Shop repairs on various trucks and equipment
• Tear downs
• Keep a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of PPE
• Works closely with the Body Shop Manager to ensure customer satisfaction
• Painting, priming, smoothing, etc.

Candidate Knowledge

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Dent repair and fiberglass repair to damaged body parts on trucks
• Replacement of body and mechanical parts necessary to return truck back to pre-collision state
• Repairs of cargo boxes to include replacement of doors, roof panels, side panels and flooring
• Sanding, smoothing, applying primer, and painting
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• 2 years body shop experience (preferred)
• Welding (preferred)

Hours

• Monday through Thursday 7:30am to 5pm and Friday 7:30 am to 4pm
